Spatial data registry
The The Spatial data registry (SDR) is, pursuant to Act No. 3/2010 Coll. on the National Infrastructure for Spatial Information (NIPI), as amended, a public administration information system that provides unified access to spatial data set resources and spatial data services, including their metadata.
On behalf of the Slovak Republic, the information system also provides the National Discovery Service, through which metadata on geospatial resources are made available to the European Commission INSPIRE Geoportal.
RPI enables the creation, import, harvesting, management and publication of metadata for:
- Spatial data sets
- Spatial data services
- Applications
The information system consists of two parts:
- Public section – providing access to content and functionality without requiring users to log in
- Restricted section – providing tools for metadata management through the Tools section and requiring user authentication
As part of its sustainability arrangements, RPI also provided the original eGovernment services until the end of 2023.

Integrations / APIs
The content and functionality of RPI can currently also be accessed and used by third parties through standardised application programming interfaces:
